  2. CAN MY CAR/BIKE/MOTORCYCLE/NON-VAN MAKE IT IN?
    ABSOLUTELY. THE DIRT ROADS IN ARE EASY, AND JUST OFF HIGHWAY 31. 3" LIFTS ARE NOT REQUIRED, BUT ALWAYS GENERALLY ENCOURAGED, AS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE.

  3. IS REGISTRATION LIMITED?
    THERE IS CURRENTLY A CUT-OFF IN PLACE, AND WE WILL CLOSE REGISTRATION PRIOR TO DESCEND.

  4. WHAT SHOULD I BRING? IS THERE RUNNING WATER?
    THERE ARE THREE TAPS TO AN ANCIENT WATER WELL IN CAMP. BRINGING YOUR OWN WATER IS ALSO ADVISED. FOOD, WARM LAYERS, FIREWOOD, EATINGWARE, YOGA MATS, SUNSCREEN, AND CASH FOR THE COMMUNITY SWAP MEET ARE ALL GREAT IDEAS. DON'T FORGET ALL THE TOMATOES/AVOCADOS/INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED TO COMPETE IN OUR SALSA/CHILI COMPETITION.

    THE NEAREST STORE IS IN LA PINE. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO GAS, SO FILL UP BEFORE YOU HIT HWY 31.

  6. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULDN'T BRING?
    THIS IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT, SO PLEASE LEAVE YOUR MEDIUM TO HARD ILLICIT DRUGS AT HOME, ALONG WITH ALL NEGATIVITY. IF THINGS GET TOO UNRULY, WE DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANYBODY TO LEAVE, AS WE DO OPERATE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. FOLKS WITHOUT TICKETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER.

    FRIDAY NIGHT POTLUCK IS A TIME-HONORED TRADITION WHERE WE GATHER TO BREAK BREAD AS A COMMUNITY. PLEASE BRING YOUR FAVORITE CAMP DISH TO FEED 4-400 OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO CLEAR YOUR TUPPERWARE FROM THE TABLES AFTER THE POTLUCK.

  8. WHAT'S THIS BBQ ABOUT?
    VANAGONLIFE DAVE HAS CREATED THE WORLD'S LARGEST SANTA MARIA GRILL FOR US, AND WE DO OUR BEST TO HONOR THAT GRILL EVERY YEAR. WE ARE PROUD TO OFFER VEGETARIAN/VEGAN OPTIONS. THIS ISN’T YOUR AVERAGE NEIGHBORHOOD BARBECUE.

  9. HOW MUCH ARE RAFFLE TICKETS/SHOWERS, AND WHERE CAN I BUY THEM?
    RAFFLE TICKETS ARE $2 APIECE. HOT SHOWERS ARE $5 EACH, AND ARE MASSIVE. YOU CAN PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS AND SHOWER TOKENS AT THE REGISTRATION TENT IN CAMP.

  10. WILL THERE BE SWAG FOR SALE AT DESCEND?
    WE PARTNER WITH WONDERFUL ARTISTS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY EACH YEAR TO BRING YOU THE HIGHEST QUALITY GOODS IN THE CAMPOSPHERE. ALL MERCH WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN LIMITED QUANTITIES, BUT WE HAVE SOLD OUT OF MERCH PREVIOUS YEARS. SINCE WE HAVE LIMITED SIZING, COLORS AND QUANTITIES, WE DO RECOMMEND YOU PREORDER YOUR MERCH AT THE TOP-SPOT TICKET LEVEL.

  11. CAN I BRING MY DOG/CAT/PET CHICKEN?
    YES! OUT OF CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PICK UP AFTER THEM, AND REMEMBER TO KEEP THEM LEASHED AT ALL TIMES WHEN IN MAIN CAMP. DO NOT DISPOSE OF THEIR POOP IN THE PORTA-POTTIES.

  12. WHERE DO I POOP?

    WE SPEND $10,000 TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PLACE TO POOP. IF IT DOESN’T COME FROM YOUR BODY, DON’T PUT IT IN THE POTTY! ALSO, PUT THE TOILET LID DOWN WHEN YOU’RE DONE, AS IT HELPS KEEP ODORS UNDER CONTROL.

  13. CAN I LEAVE A TRACE?

    NO! THIS IS A LEAVE-NO-TRACE EVENT. WE MEET IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, CALLED THE OREGON OUTBACK. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE, OR RECYCLING SERVICE. YOU MUST PACK OUT WHAT YOU BROUGHT IN. THIS INCLUDES YOUR DOG POOP BAGS.

  14. CAN I BRING MY BIKE?
    YES! BIKES ARE THE BEST WAY TO GET AROUND. THERE ARE A TON OF TRAILS LEADING TO AND AROUND THE HOLE-IN-THE-GROUND. IF MOTORIZED, PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE DUST AND NOISE CREATED BY YOUR SPEED, AND LIMIT DONUTS IN MAIN CAMP TO NONE. (DONUTS IN THE HOLE ARE 100% WELCOME.) PLEASE NOTE: WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF CAMP, YOU ARE ON NATIONAL FOREST LAND, AND NEED TO ABIDE BY NATIONAL FOREST RULES.
